Other cocneidr species
With the most recent Kickstarter doing multiple sizes of stonebreath templates I wondered are there other subspecies of cocneidr such as a dynneidr or a 120mm version?

There will be a 100mm version, yes, a Neidr, but not man-neidrau... at least, I've no plans for that. But I'll say that the Brythoniaid have a lot of monsters, currently, so they won't get much for the foreseeable...
Cheers

I would totally pay to see that happen. Would he have a name ?
(Like, randomly, umm... "Penteyrn Cadafael Cadomedd ap Cynfeddw" ? :3 )

Cadwaladr is the successor of Cadafael, he rose in power the same year Penda of Mercia died (eg 655) ^^

I have chosen to ignore Cadfael Cadomedd - it's Cadwallon -> Cadwaladr in Darklands.

Any particular reason out of polite curiosity?

Re: Other cocneidr species
If I had to venture a wild guess, I'd say its probably because Cadwallon and Cadwaladr were quite great kings of Gwynedd while Cadfael, while strengthening Cadwallon's alliance with Penda of Mercia against Northumbria, was not exactly remembered as a great man... And this world needs heroes !
Amirite ?

Tiern has it right, although I would add that Cadfael betrayed Penda at the end.
Plus Cadwaladr is a much better sounding name than Cadfael!
Cheers

Personally speaking, I think he's the reason we say "to Welsh" meaning "to go back on a deal"... but I am probably wrong.
