Dan's Darklands Models

Postby Dan Pratt » Sun Mar 06, 2016 2:20 am

Hello All,

I see many people post their work, so I figured I should aim to do the same. I hope it will motivate me to get my whole collection painted, and I especially hope to improve my painting skills to do these excellent models justice.

First off are six Ysian Brutes:

Very nice work Dan! The Skin of the Brutes and the Giant and the Eye especially.

One thing I would suggest on Oghurüc: Maybe you should darken the color of his horns a bit, at the moment they are blending a bit too much with the skintone (if that was what you´ve intended I haven´t said anything :D) - the color of his fingernails or the color that you have used on the horny growths of the brutes would be a nice match I think.

Great work! I am looking forward to see more of those!

These are great, I'd missed the Oghuruc being put up before, but with one on my desk it's really nice to see a painted version.

Wyvern looks ace.

Dragons' amazing Dan. I wouldn't like to be judging the painting competition - you'd all win!

Love that expression on the An Albainn Savage Oghurüc... 'whaaaaaa?'
