Stu's Occasionally-Finished Minis

Postby Stu » Tue Mar 08, 2016 9:32 pm

My collection's a bit pokey at the moment but here are some snaps. The pokey factor will be addressed in future.

Recent addition #1.

If I had to pick a Favourite Miniature Ever I think it might be Jormungand.

All the members of Woden's Hunt I've finished so far, all covered in that particular brand of dust which is only visible in photographs.

Technically a WIP but disregard the police.

Oh, nicely done. Simple but really effective colour scheme

Loving all the green! I especially like how the regular trolls are green, and the mountain troll is blue. I plan to distinguish mine similarly.

Looks great!

What do you use for the rust? Some kind of weathering powder?

It's MIG Extreme Rust Wash; I've never had much success with powders. The wash is tricky to work with - you have to let it dry a little bit before applying it, or it runs absolutely everywhere - but I think the effect is worth it.
