So I've reserved an airbnb whole house thingummy for the event, about 7 minutes from the venue; Joanna and I have the double bed, there's two singles.

Anybody fancy sharing? £88 quid for both nights (per sharer).

Edit: I've got Scott and Andy in, no more takers please...

Cheers

Hello, would be cool to come and watch a few games over the event weekend? Just started playing with a mate and really could do with checking a game or two.
Live in Weston, so just down the road(2hours).
Don't have enough miniatures to take part, but planning to go to the GT next August.
Thanks

Hi,

It wont be an issue I'm sure cominh along to watch.

What current kindreds do you have and how much of them do you have?

The majority of people attending this event will have multiple kindreds in volume, myself for example, I would be mroe than will to lend you some minis for the event if you want to take part..

Hi, thank you for the offer.
I have Ysians and my mate has Anglecynn.
I have the large starter, meat hulk but only 10 ax drunes.
I have 5 extra drunes. 3 brute corruptor, 3 battle drunes ( bow, whip and ax and chain) seer drune foot and mounted and war drune foot and mounted. Flesh drune and nithings.
I plan to get 5 more drunes and 10 more bows this weekend.

Grizzle, on this thread is your man for Ysian's he has about 3000 silver worth of them, he may help you out with borrowing you some minis for the tourne if you wanted to take part.

I've got a large Anglecynn force, 20 Gesith warriors, 14 Werewolves, 5 Freya Wolves, a few Guthwulfs, and a Meagenwulf, 4 Sleanbera, and a Mothrabera, and a unit of Wealwulfs, I won't be using them for the the Tourne so I'd be happy to let your mate borrow them for the event if he wants to take part, 99% of them are painted and about 50% pof them based but I'm sure the rules on painted armies could be relaxed for some newcomers.

Hi, thanks very much for the offer. Not 100% sure we will be ready for the event, but will definitely be there to watch.
If our plans change I'll give a shout out here.
Thanks again.

As I said before, the quickest way to learn is to take part in Events like this, if you haven't already seen them, I'll post the links below to the Players Video Interviews from the Sherwood GT back in July of this year. These will give you more info on the game and the tournament.

This isn’t a cut throat event, many of our players are a different levels of experience and for newer players I am happy to first round pair them with players who will help walk you through it. If I am not playing I can always be about too :)

I'm attending so I'm very happy to give "demo" games.

Hey all,
Hope the rest of the days games went well?
Thank you for letting us pop in and distract you for an hour or so.
It has been very helpful. Going to get playing. Really great painted kindreds.
If the world has not ended by new year count me in for next year.
Thanks again
Rob from Weston.

Good stuff mate, thanks for popping up!

It all went very well after you left, shame you couldn't have stayed a bit longer, but that's a long trip to come and see us - very much appreciated.

Cheers
