Gorgeous mate. The basing really complements the paintwork - just great! I'm so envious of all you talented painters. How'd you get the static grass to not look like its just been mown? And where do you get those amazing little flowers?

Use too much superglue or PVA and add tufts and flock. They key is not to add grass to the whole base, just small patches. The flowers I think are just standard miniature railway scenery flowers. That or Silfor. I don't have them in the original packaging anymore and I don't remember where I got them, I've had them for a while.

Finished the griffin today.
Re: Icchan's collection of Norse
That's a great looking Griffin you got there. I'm still saying it's not a raven-griffin though, but that's hardly your fault
Re: Icchan's collection of Norse
Thanks! I tried to refence white-tailed eagle for it's eagle parts, but didn't quite nail it. I'm relatively happy how it turned out though. Feathers are hard to paint.

It was a challenge to find an angle to showed most of it's features. More angles here: https://imgur.com/cxHWVzP

I'm liking these.
Nice earthy, even tones. Something I struggle with sometimes (have to resist the urge to over-highlight).
Good stuff!
